Her love of photography and the children has resulted in the creation of the 'Cameras for Kids' project, which to date has gone to Africa, Mexico and in 2010 , to India! Check out the children's as well as Liz's photography in this gallery. Remember, a minimum of 10% of very print you purchase goes towards the Dream Big fund, ie helping the children! 100% of proceeds goes to the Dream Big Fund if you purchase a print from the 'Cameras for Kids' collection. | A grassroots organisation in Oaxaca, Southern Mexico. Oaxaca Street Children Grassroots works to help Oaxaca's poorest families who cannot afford education, basic healthcare, or a nutritious meal for their children. 75% of the children in this program are Triqui Indians. The remaining 25% are other are destitute indigenous and meztizo families in this area. No one knows exactly how many street children there are but at almost any hour of the day 30 to 40 Triqui children will be in the Zocalo. | |||||

| I was in Uganda travelling through the Equator, when I came across the Aid Child Equator Cafe. This cafe sold quality arts & craft by local artists and food & drinks, where all profits are used to help abandoned and abused orphans living with HIV/AIDS. | |||||
| We came across some "dolls" when we were in Cape Town. They are called 'Shwe Shwe Poppis' and all have a story behind them, living stories from Zola creche in Soweto, South Africa. Zola creche is run by the African Feeding Scheme, an NGO that distributes food on a daily basis to more than 18 000 children in Soweto. Shwe Shwe Poppis are based on the children's drawings from the creche, and made by the children's mothers and grandmothers. Shwe Shwe Poppis are stories about the creative forces within every human being and a story about hope. | |||||
